On September 11, students in the Global E-Learning Academy took time to remember the importance of 9/11. Students watched a timeline video and BrainPop lessons on 9/11 and how our country worked together on the days that followed those tragic events. Students honored those lives lost by spending time giving back to the community. Students in Holly Russell's second grade class collected needed items for the Ronald McDonald House in Winston Salem. Students collected items such as cleaning supplies, games, personal hygiene products and more. Mrs. Russell delivered the items to the Ronald McDonald House on behalf of the students in the class. We are proud of our students for giving back to the community.
